Axiom Portfolios

Axiom Portfolios™

The sophistication you need. The simplicity you deserve.

Axiom Portfolios are built on an overarching purpose: To provide investors with all of the features and benefits of sophisticated portfolio management, while simplifying the reporting, management, and administration of your portfolio.

Sophisticated portfolio management can be simple and Axiom allows just that. With eight Portfolios to choose from, there's one to fit every type of investor.

Investing in Axiom Portfolios allows you to enjoy the benefits of diversification by asset class, geographical region, investment style, and market capitalization. Additionally, Axiom provides you with access to the accumulated knowledge and expertise of leading managers from around the world.

The Axiom 5-Step Process

The process is designed to determine what type of investor you are, select the Axiom Portfolio that best meets your needs, minimize risk, simplify portfolio management, and keep you up-to-date.

  • Step #1: Axiom Portfolio Selector
Every investor has a unique investment personality. Our Axiom Portfolio Selector allows your CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisor to assist you in filling out a short questionnaire to determine the type of investor you are and the Axiom Portfolio that best matches your tolerance for risk and your investment time horizon.
  • Step#2: Portfolio Design for Strategic Asset Allocation
Each Axiom Portfolio follows the discipline of strategic asset allocation. Even for investors who understand the importance of diversification, it can sometimes be difficult to follow through and maintain the proper asset allocation. We monitor the Portfolios on an ongoing basis. When weightings have shifted more than 2.5 per cent from the strategic asset allocation, the Portfolio is automatically rebalanced.
  • Step #3: Rigorous Selection & Monitoring of Portfolio Managers
Axiom provides you with the confidence of knowing that leading portfolio managers from around the world, with proven track records, are working for you. To benefit you, Axiom selects underlying investments with diversified management styles because different stocks, asset classes, and investment styles behave differently during market cycles.
  • Step #4: Minimizing Risk, Maximizing The Potential For Returns
No matter which Axiom Portfolio you choose, each one has been designed to minimize risks and solidify the potential for returns. We do this by ensuring Portfolios are broadly diversified at multiple levels, so there is not too heavy a reliance on any one individual stock, fund, sector, geographical region, or management style.
  • Step #5: Providing Quarterly Portfolio Reviews
To keep you fully informed of the progress of your investments, each quarter you will receive a detailed, yet easy-to-understand, Quarterly Portfolio Review (QPR) customized to reflect the Axiom Portfolios you hold. For even greater clarity, the QPR also features each Portfolio reported as a single line.

Get the sophistication you need. Get the simplicity you deserve.

Commissions, trailing commissions, management fees, and expenses all may be associated with an investment in the Axiom Portfolios. Please read the Axiom Portfolios simplified prospectus before investing. The Axiom Portfolios are not guaranteed, their values change frequently, and past performance may not be repeated.
